Chef’s Club of Greece will be organizing once again the 3rd Mediterranean Chef’s Competition, having many participations from Greece and abroad, and will be expecting each and every one to visit this culinary feast!

EXPOTROF hosts the largest Mediterranean Cooking & Pastry competition
The unique EXPOTROF exhibition, with more than 10 years of presence and consistency in the Greek food industry and numerous producers of artisanal, small-scale production and delicatessen products, presents exclusively at the exhibition the 3rd Mediterranean Cooking & Confectionery Competition.
Nearly 20 culinary competitions are organized by the Chef’s Club of Greece
along with significant prizes and many surprises.
A selection of acknowledged Culinary Professionals will provide their expertise
to evaluate and determine the winners of the 3rd Mediterranean Chefs Competition.
Ex. Chef George Damianou, WORLDCHEFS’ South Europe Continental Director, Honorary president of the Cyprus Chefs Association and a WORLDCHEFS certified international judge for culinary and pastry competitions.
Mr Damianou with more than 30 years of experience in professional kitchens, had himself participated in many international culinary competitions and has been a judge for many years at the biggest competitions in Europe. Also, he had been the director of Cyprus’ National Teams
Chef Sarkis Yacoubian is a WORLDCHEFS continental judge and founder & president of Taste of peace since 2007.
Chef Mimoza Balla is a WORLDCHEFS continental judge and member of the Board of Director of Albanian chefs and cooks.
Master degree in business and tourism management, owner of her own restaurant in Tirana, chef instructor and television chef.
Ex. Chef Evangelos Bilibas is the Chef-Patron of the award-winning Aphrodite Garden Restaurant in Pithagorion, Samos. He is a regular member of the Chefs Club of Greece and a certified WORLDCHEFS regional judge.
He has 35 years of experience in the field of gastronomy with a presence in Greece and abroad while he specializes in creative Greek cuisine inspired by Greek tradition with the use of modern cooking methods.
Chef Evagoras Hatzipavlou is the Vice President of Education and Publications of the Association of Chefs of Cyprus and Regional Judge of WORLDCHEFS. He has been working as an educator for the last 15 years & remains commercially active as Executive Chef & Consultant of the CNC company with two award-winning restaurants. He has taken part in various cooking competitions inside and outside Cyprus and in 2012 he was awarded the Pancypriot food innovation award.
Chef Michalis Michaelidis holds ASc & BSc degrees in Culinary Arts and PGD in Management. He has also attended a wide range of seminars. He has worked in various hotel and catering establishments as well as a business consultant.
He is an approved regional judge by WORLDCHEFS, a trainer by the Human Resources Development Authority and a Certified Hospitality Supervisor by AHLEI and since 2015 he has been working as a Culinary instructor in Secondary Technical and Vocational Education.
He is an active member of the Association of Chefs of Cyprus and since 2016 he has held the position of General Secretary which he holds until today.
George Kyprianou holds a higher diploma in Hotel & Tourism Studies from Austria, a BA in Culinary Arts and a Master’s Degree in Education from Middlesex University, Great Britain.
He has been working in Technical Education since 2005. He has appeared as an accredited judge of WORLDCHEFS in many Competitions such as Cairo, Egypt, Thessaloniki, Greece, Sheffield, England, Vienna, Austria, Tampere, Finland and has participated since the establishment of the 1st Olympic Cooking Team for 4 years as the Organizing Chef.
Ambassador of Hellenic Chefs’ Association, President of Society of Eminent Chefs in China. Organizing Committee of the China International Executive Chef Culinary Competition.
With over 40 years of extensive experience in professional kitchens, Mr. Tian was in the position of executive chef at numerous five-star hotels across China. Mr. Tian has organized numerous international culinary competitions in China, providing guidance and support to culinary teams in the country.
Asim Pregëzaj is the esteemed President of the Association of Albanian Chefs and Cooks. With a deep passion for gastronomy and a commitment to excellence, Mr. Pregëzaj actively participates in culinary events, competitions, and workshops, inspiring the next generation of culinary professionals while preserving the rich heritage of Albanian gastronomy.
